About Us
Founder and Principal: Adam Zavadil JD MPH
For fifteen years Adam Zavadil has been helping clients at the intersection of health care delivery and financing. Adam has developed deep expertise in the area of health care financing, Medicare Advantage and Part D payment, federal health care policy, CMS star ratings, ACA markets, service performance, and insurance product and benefit design.
Prior to founding ZAHealth, Adam worked as a Vice President for the boutique consulting firm Healthsperien. There he led the firm’s portfolio of health insurance clients and also worked with provider organizations looking to develop or adopt value-based payment models with private payers or CMMI.
Adam also held various leadership roles at the Alliance of Community Health Plans (ACHP). At ACHP Adam partnered with the nation’s most advanced integrated health plans, helping to support their business success and advance their policy agenda in Washington. Specifically, Adam led ACHP’s analytic agenda including benchmarking tools, policy analysis and member-specific consulting projects. He also had responsibility for ACHP’s activities on marketplace performance, helping its member organizations share best operational practices and identify future business opportunities. Adam has also held positions at EpsteinBeckerGreen PC and the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit.
Adam received a Bachelors of Science from the University of Notre Dame in biochemistry and a MPH in Health Management and Policy from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Adam received his Juris Doctorate with honors from The George Washington University Law School.

Our experience, our history
Founded in 2019, our history is the present. We are excited to be launching ZAHealth with a vision of providing better products to our clients. Adam has deep experience working with some of the highest-performing organizations in health care and helping them realize meaningful and measurable performance improvement. He has also worked with some of the nation’s largest health care companies to help them better understand the changing policy and regulatory environment in Washington—helping craft their responses and business strategies to realize opportunities and neutralize threats.
